Hello and welcome. I'm Lesley, the founder of Paws Up Academy.
Through Paws Up Academy I am dedicated to providing the highest quality dog training services
to my clients both canine and human. I understand that every dog is unique and requires a personalised approach to learning. I work with you and your dog to create tailored training that
meets your dog's specific needs. My goal is to help you build a strong bond of mutual trust and safety with your dog, creating a happy and healthy relationship that lasts a lifetime.
I am the proud caregiver to two, 10 year old Huskies. Before bringing my dogs home and becoming a professional dog trainer, I worked for many years in the Banking Sector training people in skills relevant to that industry. I strongly believe people training is a very important aspect of dog training.
I founded Paws Up Academy in January 2018 starting with dog walking, short term pet sitting & basic dog training to begin to gain breed, situation and canine emotion understanding whilst enhancing my knowledge and skills with studies both online and in person. I now have many years of practical experience with various ages and breeds of domestic dogs in all manner of environments and settings, complementing the application of my extensive studies.
